Ice Cream Sundays #10

Strawberries are currently in abundance in Australia - you can pick up punnets for only a dollar.
I love nothing more than snacking on sugary sweet strawberries on a sunny, Spring afternoon.
I'm making sure to stock up now and freezing them to enjoy for weeks to come.

But, sometimes simple strawberry ice cream, despite being totally delicious, just isn't doesn't do it for me. That is why I developed this Berry Blast ice cream, for something different - a spin on a classic.
There's three different types and textures of berries, with the obligatory banana ice cream base.

 Ingredients

500g Frozen Bananas
150g Freshfields Berry Fast & Fruity, or frozen mixed berries
150g Strawberries, sliced
10g Fruit For Life Dried Blueberries

Directions

In a blender pulse the berry Fast & Fruity with the frozen bananas until a smooth ice cream forms
In a glass, alternate layers of ice cream with the sliced strawberries and dried blueberries
Top with more strawberries and blueberries

Makes 1 serve
